I was pretty happy with it while it lasted. It gave up in just over a year, 2 months after its warranty had expired... nice. I first suspected a burnt fuse, but it wansn't. It was manufactured in 2007 and on sale for $49. I had not noticed before, but when Mom said she couldn't use it because she couldn't see the words and numbers on the control pad, I couldn't see them either. She has to use a flashlight to see them. This is a serious problem, because she is likely to burn up something, so I am looking for a solution. Perhaps the manufacturer has a solution. I'm going to check on this.
